    4. @vt3c I think I would want that but... If I had the money I would make a badasskicking desktop instead...

    5. @vt3c The hard drive is so slow though. My dinky notebook has 7200 RPM.

    6. @vt3c Yeah. I always assume I could get by with 250 Gigs, but then I look at my friend who has used up half of the 500 GB HDD on his iMac. I would be much more comfortable with at least that.

    7. @vt3c I used to eat mine with torrented anime. Now I prefer popcorn.

    8. @vt3c I recon that text you would have put up there would make a whole lot more sense if you replaced "science" with "research" ... should I ?

    9. @vt3c But as an animator, I need enough room for all of my Adobe products, hundreds, maybe thousands of flash, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Photoshop files, some of which can take up to 30 MB, 1080p HD video copies of all of my videos, which can be up to a gig per, etc. I need lots of breathing room.

      1. @zeldatra That's not to mention all the music I end up putting on my computers. My iTunes library is massive.

    12. @vt3c And look at what they did en-performance scaling with the 610 and 620 ... they run even better than the 640 or 650 some say/think if they only had their own RAM

    13. @vt3c I myself am very happy with my Phenom II X4 955 and Radeon HD6950 I bought somewhere in Q1 of 2011. It can still kick anything on high I want to play ( with as mayor exception to this Planetside 2. And I have yet to test FarCry 3 or Crysis 3 ) ... With current events going as it I am unsure what kind of new computer I will buy when the time is right. There is a chance I will buy a new AMD & ATI powered computer alright, but with Nvidia having its hand so far up the peverbial cookie jar called "cuda physx" I will probably wait for a bit. There is even a chance I will wait to see what the "Excavator" vs "Broadwell Wildcat Point-LT" and "Logan/Kepler GPU" ( Or "Parker" ) hangs on against the "volcanic Islands"
