@tohelo You know, for some reason I feel gypsed when I look at my ISP's website http://www.upc.nl/internet/ ... I am paying 50 a month for a semi-old subscription. I guess I will have a talk to a salesrep somewhere in the future. Also, UPC kinda sucks. I would way rather have ADSL. Sadly when this building was constructed I had no access to proper phone-lines ... so ADSL is pretty much out of the question

@critialcloudkicker we pay SSP 50€ for internet witch uploadspeed should be 10-12 Mbps but usually it is just 2-4 Mbps i don't know but that seems like robbery to me.. :/

@tohelo Ironically I really think that that speed you have right now is way better than the speed I am experiencing now. I suspect my windows installation is dying. I guess I will start to mobilize the "lets reinstall Windows again" routine... Perhaps even go as far as to install Ubuntu on a secondary partition... Hmm, nah, I will do that on my next computer though, one that supports primary hard disks bigger than 2 TB, because for some reason I could not get my machine to boot off of a GPT hard disk.
