      1. @colfax The gif has not fully loaded for me, but I can only assume it's Pinkie's walk cycle from "A Friend in Deed". Yes, I have analyzed this, and no, I do not think this is how they normally walk... er, trot.

          1. @colfax I have that among other images in my reference library. I gave these images a look over, and tried my best to animate like that. However, it is slightly difficult to make it look like I even tried from the front view, since the front legs are covering the back legs most of the time.

        2. @zeldatra I hope this gif helps out a little with your walk cycle animation. This one shows a side view so that you can get an idea of where their hoof placement should be (and I've noticed that through out the TV show, regardless of what angle, front, back or side, they always seem to have the same hoof placement pattern when walking). http://pozdn9k.deviantart.com/art/Twilight-Sparkle-Walk-Cycle-Test-333536796
