@mushi with the horn you to your equipment screen and it'll tell you what combinations of notes do what, then you just use the attacks that correspond with those notes and then press R to initiate the buff if you did it right. Other than that you just swing your gigantic metal bagpipes and knock things around.

@mushi I also liked using the katana, switchaxe, greatsword, and occasionally the heavy bowgun. Haven't tried the rest yet.

@flamingpandaomg i tried long sowrd, the battle horn, great sword, bow, sword and shield, and a huge axe, but the dual blades were the best ones to play for me

@mushi It was awkward and hard to use. Maybe on Wii U it's easier, but definitely not 3DS. The bowguns weren't bad though.

@mushi laaaaaaaaaaame. Also, if you didn't know, A lot of weapons have a special attack with X+A or R. Took me ages before I realized the X+A did something new though.

@flamingpandaomg i knew r activates the demon mode with dual bladdes, and it makes cool attacks with the other weapons, but i didnt know X+A did anything xD

@mushi It does. Or I thought it did. I know it lets you do local multiplayer. It should let you do multiplayer with your friends online though.

@flamingpandaomg yes, you can do local multiplayers, but the 3ds version only lets you go obline with you're in the party of someone playing on a wiiu

@mushi if they could have added an option to tune the sensitivity, I wouldn't mind. It's just super sensitive so it's hard to shoot anything that isn't a massive cherries monster.
