So I went and watched Pacifi Rim today. Only managed to get tickets for a dubbed version though. It was outright amazing. I love those kinds of movies. Probably going to watch it again in IMAX 3D next week.

@nerthos i wish it would be in the movies tomorrow, i wil probably have an epic leacture that will probably end with me being kicked out of the lab and i would like something cool to do after that

@nerthos bosses dont let me work without their supervision, but everytime i asked to do something they said i couldnt do. Then she scolded me in front of the whole lab saying i dont work and blah blah blah and that it would be better if i were not being paid for the that. Then i asked her again if i could do one more thing of my work and she only said she needed to talk to me tomorrow

@potatoshi Best way to satisfy a critical boss is to let yourself be humiliated and be like, "You were right and I'd like to work harder. I'd really appreciate some pointers. Yes. I'll be sure to do things that way from now on." Any self respect may hold you back

@potatoshi Another option is to make life difficult for her by reporting her mistakes and flaws to her superior. A fun fantasy but usually not worth it. If you were good at talking I would suggest taking her feedback and giving her some back about how you don't appreciate her scolding you because it leaves you with the sense that she doesn't respect you.

@pony one think. I study at a federal college, and the professors are nearly gods at these, there isnt much i could do to fix this
