    3. @zachariastargazer There is always something the matter in this world, everything can become a great and amazing conversation. @haganbmj and I do agree with you on that one.

      1. @mrdragon I don't mean this as offense to anyone - but the way I see the mlp community is in waves of people. Initially, it was a college and above crowd that spent their time online and was involved in various communities that found mlp; this was before mlp was featured in countless news articles and on 'meme' websites. It was also before mlp became an acceptable thing online, as most of the initial users were met with fairly harsh feedback on other websites. It was this initial community that banded together however and formed the websites we now have (rdn being a late example of such). When the end of the common american school year rolled around, however, a surge of middle school and high school students who weren't as involved online during semester came into the scene; finding shortcuts into the community in the form of knowyourmeme.com and other reference websites. Such websites fed the new 'fans' cultural references that had been established months prior, and came along with

        1. @haganbmj the assurance that mlp was now more or less an acceptable thing online. Having bypassed the initial origins of the community, and the discoveries that occurred whilst the show was airing; this new breed of bronies attempted to merge with the established fanbase. It's the same... group (for the most part) as what 4chan refers to as 'summergrapess'

          1. @haganbmj All in all however; the community has split into two unique groupings of people. The established bronies, and the new-bronies who seek to embed themselves into the culture. It's one thing to be the forerunners of a community, and quite another to be the followers after it's established itself. 4chan can vouch for that one I'm sure :P

              1. @thelastmoon *glares at you* I've got my eye on ya :P ~ Nah, it's just a select group of people that really feel the need to be accepted... Like some form of mental demand that requires they feel... 'accepted' ~ Those are the ones that bug me now.

                1. @haganbmj I don't see why we shouldn't be accepting! A new fan is converted daily, and love and tolerance is our modus operandi.

                  1. @thelastmoon I have no problem at all with new people. In fact I was explaining characters and relations to a guy on my facebook fan page who was obviously confusing himself xD ~ It's just the people that seek to act as if they've been here forever that bother me. Using older references in the wrong context instead of just acting naturally.

                      1. @colfax And that's how it should be! I just dislike when people try and pick up old stuff. ie. 'I read the knowyourmeme article on sweetie belle derelle, now I know all there is to know about it'

          1. @starshine Ugh q.q ~ Maybe someone should copy it all into a tinypaste and just post the link lol ~ (make sure whoever does fixes my typos and grammatical errors)

            1. @haganbmj Or you could post the link to the conversation thread, and I could fave that ;)

              1. @starshine xD - That makes me notice that your handy guide to Rdn has dropped off the top of the Popular Notices. Not pleased with that q.q
