Oh so I'm supposed to receive a text from UKMail informing me when my phone has been dispatched, yet I haven't had any such text and it's 2 days since is was meant to arrive, let alone be sent out to me. Wondering if I should complain and if that would even get me anywhere

@scoot Do you have a tracking number or anything?
-
@thelastgherkin Literally nothing
-
@scoot That's a call to EE then.
-
@thelastgherkin Dang it
-
@scoot First it might be worth checking around for a calling card, or visiting any neighbours to see if you've missed a delivery and they've taken it in.
-
@thelastgherkin I haven't left the house since I placed the order
-
@scoot Have you showered or played loud music?
-
@thelastgherkin My dog goes insane when someone even goes near the door so even with loud music on, I always hear the door
-
@scoot Well, that's all the usual suspects sorted. Since EE have provided you no tracking or parcel information, you can't double check with UKmail, so you'll have to get onto EE.
-
@thelastgherkin Yeah I'm on the phone now, I'm not impressed
-
@scoot specifically I'm on hold now
-
@scoot Were you with one of EE's subsidiaries before?
-
@thelastgherkin Yeah I was Orange T-Mobile
-
@scoot So you're used to poor service. Heyoo.
-
@thelastgherkin I'm not even gonna dispute that
-
@scoot It would be funny, if it weren't so true.
-
@thelastgherkin :( I would change networks but they gave me an actually good phone for only £40 including early upgrade fees.
-
@scoot I'm in the same boat. I got a free Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 on a £15 monthly contract, with an extra 2gb of free data.
-
@thelastgherkin I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 for a pretty extensive £30 a month, but the offer was literally only for that one phone and it's a super good phone
-
@thelastgherkin who is your provider ?
-
@critialcloudkicker Everyone knows that
-
@critialcloudkicker At the time is was Orange, but they merged to form EE.
