    2. @vt3c I'd be chilling at a friends house if I was not feeling more like playing video games... Yea I am starting up GW2 right now just because I feel like it... Probably going to bed soon today too.

    3. @vt3c The Origin thing ?

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 19:56:45 UTC from web
    4. @vt3c I dislike EA/Origin to the level where I would admit to just pirating their stuff and having it work better thanks to it as an end result anyway... Including Simcity

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 19:59:03 UTC from web
    5. @vt3c Uh... who cares if they openly supported SOPA? That doesn't stop you from piracy.

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:02:59 UTC from web
      1. @zeldatra On top of that I don't think any ISP ever is ok with piracy since it probably makes them look bad.

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:03:57 UTC from web
      2. @zeldatra I purposefully chose a domain registrar AND hosting company who didn't, because I figure they're slightly less likely to sell me out to the NSA

        1. @ceruleanspark HAH, good one. Unless if your ISP's name is Lavabit... Oh wait...

          1. @critialcloudkicker I did say /slightly/

            1. @ceruleanspark If I were living in America I would probably use a VPN with SECURE encryption to either Europe or a large nearby campus. Yes they could still trace your every move, but every bit of information they gather would be circumstancial at best

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:11:54 UTC from web
              1. @critialcloudkicker Both the domain registrar and the server are outside of american soil anyway.

                1. @ceruleanspark What if you were living in America instead of the UK ?

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:14:03 UTC from web
                  1. @critialcloudkicker I'd probably be to busy doing kissu kissu to care.

                    1. @ceruleanspark Kissu Kissu ? ... that sounds like a Jap or Weaboo thing

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:28:05 UTC from web
                      1. @critialcloudkicker They prefer either "Japanese" or "JP". They find Jap offensive.

                        1. @ceruleanspark You are Japanese ?

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:35:57 UTC from web
                          1. @critialcloudkicker No, but I've been lectured at length by one on that exact topic.

Tuesday, 20-Aug-13 20:36:51 UTC from web
                            1. @ceruleanspark It does not take long to figure out why Japanese would not like being called Jap... ... Pearl Harbour inspired movies, clear and simple explanation

                            2. @ceruleanspark It's because they find it offensive right.

    6. @vt3c So ? As long as there are legal scapegoats noone should be able to touch you for what you do on the internet. Up to the point where some govnerment body would actually go as far as to investigate... ... So if I need to "find" my copy of Red Alert 2 and I have the option to either fetch it from the internet or the attic... I am going to fetch it from the internet.
