Hmm, Playing Advance Wars:Dark Conflict ( Days of Ruin ) on a DS ... This is somewhat more fun than I thought it would be.

@critialcloudkicker Do you know what DS game I found more fun than I probably should? [conspiratorial proximity and volume] ... is this bad?
-
@pawnheart I was more thinking amongst the lines of "Playing on a DS is more fun than I remember" ... As for that game, I never heard of it... Gonna youtube it
-
@critialcloudkicker I always liked the DS... haven't "upgraded" yet... not a tremendous amount of impetus to do so, tbh.
-
@pawnheart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTSE9q-aCj0 ... This looks REALLY boring when I skim it to be honest.
-
@pawnheart You have a DS ? or a DSi ?
-
@critialcloudkicker Well... It's a turn-based RPG. Not a particularly difficult one, either. Most people would agree with you, though! ...I... I enjoyed it!
-
@critialcloudkicker DS. Who d'ya think I am? Rockefeller?
-
@pawnheart I'll probably try it one day somewhere near the EOL of the 3DS
-
@pawnheart Who is Rockefeller ?
-
@critialcloudkicker It's baby-blue going on orange. The screen looks like it's been laced with catnip at some point.
-
@critialcloudkicker Ah, it was just a wee joke. He was at one point the richest man in the world (I think?).
-
@critialcloudkicker J. D. Rockefeller was a wealthy oil tycoon.
-
@pawnheart AHH, ohkay :) ... So ehmm... Do you know anything about the R3 cards ? I think I would eventually want one for when the EOL ( End Of Life ) of the device comes around. Do you think that is wrong ?
-
@critialcloudkicker ...I hadn't even heard of them before! wikipedia time...
-
@critialcloudkicker Ah... so its kinda an SD memory expansion?
-
@critialcloudkicker I think waiting for the reductions in price, and the complete catalogue of games, is never a bad way to go if you don't mind waiting!
-
@pawnheart http://www.m3i-zero.nl/promotie/r4i-gold-eu-4gb-voor-3ds-dsi-dsi-xl-ds-lite.html ( Dutch shop, best picture ) It is a device that allows homebrew to be played on your Nintendo device. However since you can also technically play ROM's on your device afterwards since such piratey in nature homebrew exists. They are Borderline-legal
-
@pawnheart Oh sure I am willing to buy any catalogue game when the price sits right with me, However there are always a rather big number of games that do not get to be digitaly catalogue'd and buyable
-
@critialcloudkicker Thats quite cool. Bout the same price as a standard SD by the look of it, too.
-
@pawnheart What ? It is a card you need to put in a Nintendo device, not a new device, just a card
