@critialcloudkicker Nah, when my ex kicked me out of the apartment we were renting last October after we broke up with each other, I left quite a few things behind on accident. Almost all of my MtG cards was one of those things.

@faceroll Yeah except I never had nearly as many MtG cards as I had Yugioh cards. I had massive tin boxes filled with yugioh cards. I only had the deck builder's toolkit, one full deck and like 10 boosters to my name before my ex screwed me out of them.

@flamingpandaomg M14 is a really solid core set to start over with. Theros looks /actually interesting/ unlike Ravnica, so that's cool too.

@vt3c Depends if he's been no-lifing it well or not. I've seen decent decks get kiwi on by really cheap decks. Hope he doesn't run into a green deck that just spams a bananas ton of elves and then boosts them all and rampages

@vt3c green is the kind of deck. There's 5 colors, green red white black and blue, green tends to involve creating a lot of creatures very quickly, boosting their damage, and then using rampage which causes any leftover damage from a fight directly hurt your life, so if a 4/4 elf kills a 2/2 creature, the leftover 2 damage goes straight to your life. It's not fun.

@scribus I don't know all too much about the actual game of MtG. I know the basics of how it's actually played but some of the mechanics I'm ignorant of since I only actually played three or four times. No one to play around here anymore.

@flamingpandaomg Ah, bummer. Permission decks are basically as many different ways to say "counterspell" as possible, and Burn is just a butt-ton of direct damage spells at low costs.
