@rarity I went to church (Catholic, b/c Mexican) with my mom & grandpa one day, and the priest spent the whole sermon railing against homosexuals, same-sex marriage, etc, etc... And then at the end, the "Let us pray" church lady's very grapeing first thing was, "For the end of prejudice and discrimination in the world, let us pray." My prayer was, "Cool hypocrisy, padre!"

@scribus Oh boy religions can be fun for stuff like this can they not. Apparently in our village we had a homosexual couple who were flayed alive for preceived 'crimes'. I wasn't around for this but it was a story we had heard in our I guess you'd call them sermons?

@scribus There it would have been easier because of our surroundings. Probably what made people in our village such zealots was the fact they felt actually threatened, not just religious aspect but cultural/ethnic aspects.

@awlpony Probably better now thinking of it; less clashing problems with the people around us. Christianity however is besides the point. Our village was ruled by people who wanted their views to be dominant, and stopped at very little to keep people in their conceived lines.
