I will never understand the term "English Muffins" when they're supposed to be called "Crumpets"
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:08:37 UTC from web-
@scoot I had thought them different from one another.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:09:09 UTC from web-
@awlpony Perhaps they are, I really don't know. I just know I've never seen any "English Muffins" in England
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:10:56 UTC from web-
@scoot They'd just be muffins there.

@foxgopher You say that like it's true. This is what we call a muffin, you're probably familiar with it http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/426371

@scoot Yeah that there is a muffin. Good job Scoot.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:14:10 UTC from web-
@foxgopher You seem to be implying I said something stupid, when really I was just being sarcastic.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:16:31 UTC from web-
@scoot I'm responding to your sarcasm with brutal honesty.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:17:21 UTC from web-
@foxgopher It fell flat, it just looked like you completely failed to understand.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:18:50 UTC from web-
@scoot I'm glad you saw it that way.

@rarity I'm English and I only found out about "English Muffins" a year or so ago, since we don't actually have those. Really, English Muffins are more commonly produced and sold in America, so I'd say English Muffins are actually American Muffins.

@scoot YEAH. WELL. NYEH

@scoot Upon looking it up it seems English muffins are larger than the typical crumpet, though otherwise they are the exact same thing. Do you typically toast crumpets?
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:14:54 UTC from web-
@awlpony We do usually, yes
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:15:36 UTC from web-
@scoot Then I guess size is the only difference, and that's most like because of Americans making it bigger. Either rate, they're tasty.
Monday, 23-Sep-13 00:17:19 UTC from web-
@awlpony Crumpets are great.
