      1. @scribus but it's terrible for your credit score.

      2. @scribus to be honest, i already used R$30 , 20 to buy colors 3d for the 3ds and 10 for a Tales of xillia DLC. But the funny thing is that he is doing exactly what he repetitivelly tells me to not do, and with MY card

    2. @mushi that's so bad! Why don't you get account statements in the mail or email?

        1. @mushi that's awful. xP Well you can rebuild your credit pretty easily if you have about $50. You would take out a $50 loan (or similar amount in your currency) and repay almost all of it right away, but keep the loan account open at like only $1, then you'd take the $49 you have left and do the exact same thing again so you have 2 shiny loan accounts that look good. If you do it a third time that's even better. And if you have enough money you can increase the loan amount to really give your credit score a boost. This works flawlessly in the U.S. at least. I guess no real harm done since you didn't use the card, but it's really good for your credit score to have a long standing credit account (like 10 years old), so I'd recommend getting a new card and keeping it safe from your old man.

          1. @pony @mushi there's probably a minimum loan ammount, so keep that in mind if you try it out..

          2. @pony heh, i have this card for like 8 months xD

            1. @mushi ah I see. well then it's not a big loss thankfully at least.

            2. @mushi also, credit scoring in the U.S. (and probably elsewhere) is only really helped if you're actually using your credit accounts (meaning you pay them off a bit or all the way almost every month.)

          3. @pony the lowest loan I can take out is 10K but I cant take it out since I dont make enough in my job to be eligible. Ha.

            1. @firestormdangerdash @mushi yeah. You might have to bank shop for something low. I think the finance teacher who taught me the trick actually recommended 500

              1. @pony 500? my limit is 100

Tuesday, 08-Oct-13 15:25:46 UTC from web
                1. @mushi your credit card limit was 100? Well it's ok anyway because the money to get from the loan is what you use to pay it back right away.

Tuesday, 08-Oct-13 15:27:32 UTC from web
                2. @mushi the more money you have, the easier it is to keep multiple accounts open to repay them slowly each month is all.

                  1. @pony i dont have much money,m i like like 2/3 of a minimum wage in a month

Tuesday, 08-Oct-13 15:30:08 UTC from web
                3. @mushi so I guess when I said you need $50 I lied. You only need enough money to pay for the interest on the tiny amount in each loan account each month.

              2. @pony I just use my credit card. Never miss a payment. My bank doubted me. "wait, you never missed a payment?" Like why would you miss a 13 buck payment?

                1. @firestormdangerdash yeah that's great for a credit score :)

            2. @firestormdangerdash @mushi (early enter) $500 instead of $50
