  1. So I just found out that if you have a high enough friendship with your Pokemon they will sometimes endure a hit that would normally bring them down to not disappoint you. Sylveon did this for me earlier without me realising and it was actually pretty crucial ;_;

    1. @ecmc Yes! Sometimes they'll also shrug off status changes "So you don't worry". They'll also Critical Hit more.

      1. @ceruleanspark The only thing I've gotten so far is that Delphox's entrance message changes sometimes like "Delphox seems excited to start", etc.

        1. @flamingpandaomg Is your friendship maxed? My Azumarill, Pie, is an unstoppable killing machine. Dodges attacks, shakes off status changes, Critical Hits all day erry day because of it.

          1. @ceruleanspark Nah, it's just now 2/5 hearts, mainly because I got annoyed at the Pokémon Amie because I'd feed it a apple ton of those fluff things and then 200 steps later it's starved.

      2. @ceruleanspark And now I have lots more reasons to do this Amie thing with more of my Pokemon... I only bothered with it for Eevee to get Sylveon. Didn't realise it was actually this useful. It's real nice they added this more depth to the friendship system.

        1. @ecmc They really do perform better if you're nice to them. I love it.

    2. @ecmc That's actually kind of heartbreaking.
