        @rarity Different Trainer IDs make it more likely that the Pokemon will create an egg every 256 steps.

                @minti You see, I was talking about "trading eggs" and "the effects it has on said pokemon from egg being shiny or not" since the shiny-status is being calculated by some form of math between the trainer ID and secret trainer ID. If you change the trainer ( ergo, trade the eggs ) the shiny-calculation will become different

              @critialcloudkicker the shiny rate only lowers if one of the parents is from a different country

                @rarity I heard it changed, I did not know if it went up or down, are you sure it ( The shiny rate ) goes down with different-language-caputred pokemon ?

                  @critialcloudkicker The rate when breeding with a Pokemon from a different region is 6/8056 for getting a shiny in Black and White. I've heard they upped the general rate of catching shinies though so it could be more now.
