        @redenchilada Today, I inexplicably keep getting PHP strict mode errors. Yesterday I was getting a repeated error about a QNA plugin that wasn't even being loaded, then a blank page. As it stands I can't even install the upgrade cleanly, from scratch.

          @ceruleanspark Oh I know what the QnA error was about. I probably should've fixed that so it at least loads... Dunno what all the strict mode errors are about, though. Should I go tinker with things on the beta server so I can see if maybe I'll stumble blindly on a solution?

              @ceruleanspark They're pretty much default... the only thing I remember doing to php.ini was setting fix_pathinfo to 0, and I honestly don't know what the sites-available config is?

        @minti I set up a diaspora pod a couple of months back. It was pretty interesting, but it doesn't seem to be in particularly active development. Tent.io is another neat concept that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

            @minti I haven't checked because pump.io's "Let's cram every toy tech with the words "web scale" in its marketing materials into our app" design decisions make me want to kill myself.
