@broniebrown That is so smart. I wish our schools in the US would encourage a foreign language at such a young age. I started learning German when I was roughly 15 and I speak it better than anyone I know where I live, but I still sound like a caveman if I actually try to use it with a native speaker.

@broniebrown I've been learning German in my free time and I noticed that the name was untaken, so I figured it would work out. I actually watched the whole first season of MLP entirely in German, lol.

@broniebrown I do honestly prefer to have my data where I can hold it. Though cloud computing is pretty convenient, it's a bit scary.

@pony Public transportation can be scary, but it can be fun too since you get to see a bunch of different people. You also don't have to worry about driving, so you can use that time for reading or listening to music or drawing or studying, whatever.

#totw I think whenever I see a show with relationships as ideal as in MLP, I do get kind of sad, yeah. The conflicts in the show are almost always internal and the characters tend to resolve these conflicts among themselves. The mane six do argue and misunderstand each other a lot, but by the end of every episode they exercise such humility and self-awareness with one another that it's almost kind of odd to see. Then again, a show can be great for the value of the examples it sets, and MLP has plenty of those.
