@shoutingryan there is always a political pattern of types of government. All communist dictatorships are the result of a previous democracy or republic gone bad. Eventually it gets so corrupted that the people will give up theier freedoms just to have the whole mess be cleaned up.

@kingpopadopalus the US had a budget surplus before GW Bush took office. It was the tax cuts that eventually created the debt. You can't balance your budget if you keep lowering you income.

@roygbiv even if the debt ceiling is raised the US's credit rating could still be downgraded since it's a based on a countries debt to GDP ratio

@theawesomepony ok I added that to our wishlist and I agree it's a good idea. It's not really a priority for implementation right now though.

interesting. StatusNet Desktop continually crashes on Snow Leopard, but it's stable on Lion. Anypony have any ideas why that is?

@starshine hey my version is pirated, what kind of user would I be to not share it, hahaha. Did you know that there's a lot of research that shows that people who pirate software actually spend a lot more $$ on cmpany's products than the people that don't.
