@darkmoon1991 Well most of our meets aren't downtown I think our next is at the Sailing Club at eagle creek. Also I'm pretty sure were going to have a couple people grouping together for trotcon, midwestria, and Caterlot Gardens. And since the children's museum is free on the first Thursday of every month we have started a monthly meet for that if your interested

@darkmoon1991 First of all Welcome, I haven't really planed much recently been busy with school and Hoosier Hooves has ben doing great with their group. If you have a Facebook I would join them they do a lot of meetups. As far as meetups up north I don't know of any, sorry. But Chicago is extremely close so I'll see if I can't find a group there for you.

@doctorwhooves42 so turns out I have to be at Purdue that day and I can't go. So I put a notice that puts you at the event with cake and junk facebook. What I still want to do is have a movie theater meetup with every brony I can find, but since that's not time sensitive I can put it in the middle on summer when not much is going on.

@doctorwhooves42 Basically since Discovery and Hasbro owns the Hub they own copyrights on the show so if we were to show an episode in public we would essentially be stealing if it wasn't showed on the Hub. If you ever read those banners that show up before movies or in the credits they say you can't have private screenings. This may not apply to us right away but lets say we wanted to show some more episodes off of YouTube or that I have downloaded it becomes illegal. Ultimately, I would like to do our own mare-a-thon say in a theater so we could show a bunch of episodes without having them to be on the Hub and it's cool to have. (Spoilers)!!!

@doctorwhooves42 awesome, right now I'm just waiting on permission from Discovery/Hub/Hasbro to give us permission then I'll set a date that should work for most of us. Then the goal is post info everywhere. And try to overflow wherever we go!
