@heartstring Hey man, thanks for the tips. It's sounding much better then how i configured it before! I tweaked with it a little by increasing it a little bit around the 8 - 20khz bands to make it a little brighter and the fuzz is around 39% to give it a bit of a lo-fi feel. Very nice! @heartstring I'm using the dedicated Mic port, i've tried the TRS port and it SUCKS for mic recording in my experience. Condenser power is much better. Anyways i'm recording an alternative/punk type song so i dunno if i want a fuzz/garage tone or if i want something along the lines of Smashing Pumpkins.

@heartstring it's not thick, but it's warm, but i can't decide if i want it to sound natural or if i want fuzz treble. I'm using a Tascam US-144MK2 and i'm recording on FL Studio.

@heartstring Condenser Mic. a CAD C195. It's not really a problem of clipping, cause i can fix that with limiting. It's more a problem with tone and EQ.
