@fireshock Yeah, that's the problem, I would want to be a test pilot (because I have little regard for my own life). I fell in love with the idea when I saw this thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_X-15 ,something about the idea of flying THAT is, like, idk, totally indescribable. Maybe someone will come up with a cure for bad eyes. Or I could get eye surgery... Does that count?

@fireshock I hope so, my eyes are pretty damn bad, but it is def. a dream of mine. For now I just have to be satisfied with jumping OUT of planes, not flying them. But someday........someday

@abigpony hahaHA, wellll, when i get back to the US (WHY do i have to be STUCK in Germany...) it the "Duality" electric guitar staring pinkie... I am gonna take this image: http://halfdragonpod.deviantart.com/favourites/#/d3fhl8a and paint it on the front. I want to find some way to mix my own blood into the paint on the pinkamina side (for the red), but i dunno if that is going to be possible, so we'll see. The Headstock then (i'm actually debating this part) might be painted as a razorblade (seeing as it's that sortof frightening jackson-style shape). So yeah. But then I have to re-fret the neck (cuz this gutar is like from the 80's, it was sitting forgotten at my high school, so I stole it) and find some new control knobs (current ones are only cheap plastic)

@abigpony well, it takes a LOT of patience and knowledge of wiring etc. I had to completely rewire an active 3-band eq pickup system on this one which was a grapes to do, but the painting itself is pretty easy so long as you have the right materials and are very careful... and use lots of masking tape for nice clean lines...

@abigpony no, unfortunately not, up until a few months ago I was fighting a losing battle of trying to creat a halfway decent post-rock song. A few weeks back tho, i did manage to record 3 things, 2 original songs (no vocals yet) and a cover of "in which Harry and Draco Secretly Want to Make Out" (yeah, I know). What I am getting at tho with the "paintmod" is sth like this: http://halfdragonpod.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3lorhc , where I take a guitar or bass and paint it to reflect a character.

@abigpony the thing is, usually I have 2 sm58s, an audio interface, more cables than I care to count, so i am able at least to creat demos. But this... I have been playing unamplified bass for a month now, but I WANT SOUND!!!!!!!

@fireshock I'm actually curious now, what are the capabilities of the t-38? I mean, that's a trainer right? And which seat do you as the student sit in? the Front on or the rear one? Sorry about the questions, I have always wondered what it would be like to fly a plane, esp. a jet like the one you are flying in!!

@starshine well these people do an INSANELY good job, like they cut out the details so it looks a good as possible, and it only takes like 15 minutes. Plus they use a REALLY high quality print adhesive transfer thing so after a while, the image just sorta melts into the fabric, and looks absolutely awesome...
