@abigpony no I know, it iratates me too sometimes to see people flaunting their sexuality. Nopony, gay or strait, wants to see some stuff that others feel a need to display publicly. Plus internet relationships are always a joke.

@noizybrony Hm. I think to begin with you might want to go with the clean tone with just a bit of reverb, that always sounds really nice. Make sure you cut the lower frequencies, say, roll off at about 300 Hz, that will keep it warm without being overwhelming. Then, if you still want the distortion, add it slowly. I bet that you will find that less is more with distorted vocals. I remember once I was recording vocals for a post-rock song, and just for a joke i turned the distortion up a little too far and nearly deafened myself XD. @noizybrony Ah, the tascam, I am familliar wit that one. Are you using the dedicated mic side or the guitar in/mic side? I have found that you can get a better sound with the dedicated mic port. The thing with distorted vocals is that they need to be compressed propperly so you won't peak the master volume. I am not as familiar with FL studio, but I just had a look online and it seems similar to Cubase (which I do know how to use). What kind of music are you recording? Warmth is desirable, but it can be overwhelming.

@noizybrony are you getting a really "thick" bass heavy sound out of the mic? Or is it too thin? The former is easy to fix. What kind of interface are you using, and are you using a computer program to record it? And if so, which one?

@abigpony My only regret was that it didn't last longer, and that Pinkie's "evil enchantress" song did not come on, cuz I could have sung along to that, increasing the WTF factor by 20%!!!

In the car with parents when suddenly i acidentally select the artist "Pinkie Pie" on my ipod plugged into the stereo system, and "A Hop, Skip, and a Jump" starts blasting out of the speakers... FML

@partycrash I am moving to Columbus from Germany after 5 years here. We moved to a new apartment here a few weeks ago (because we are keeping a small apartment for vacations etc.) and NOW we have to move back home. I am SO tired of packing
