@hoit So the customers who go to McDonalds are rude to the employees... Well to be honest, you are dealing with people who come to McDonalds after Thanksgiving... Also probably Black Friday ( or was that for Xmas ? ) ... I wish you good luck trying not to blow a fuse
-
@hoit At least I try to be jolly and a general decent human being to low-income workers. It makes me sad that a lot of people however treat them as plebs. ... Do you work at Burger King or somehting ?
-
@hoit Thanks Hoit, but I think I figured that one out before I met you. I figured that you will eat a lot of fast food when you work for a fast food joint. Also you get frier-hair and frier-smell on your body that does not leave untill you left the gig for a month.

@hoit *is a nerd* Hello!
-
@hoit Nothin', geek!

@hoit Being afraid of suffering whilst you die, or being concerned about the the consequences stemming from your death (Fatherless children and so on) are completely separate from being afraid of the actual concept of death.
-
@hoit You should always be ready.
-
@hoit I suppose if he said he actually wanted to kill all religious icons, then I'd agree. I'm thinking Cerulean just wants answers to hypotheticals though.
-
@hoit If it comes to that we can always have crusades again.
-
@hoit There's a difference between saying that it's OK to kill someone (which, as a general rule, it is not), and saying that people who believe they're going to receive an eternal reward after death should not be overly concerned about dying, because it's actually going to be pretty great for them if they're right.
-
@hoit Lots of people want to die. Free will frequently overrides base level biological imperatives.
-
@hoit If you fervently believe there's an afterlife that's literally a perfect world free from all suffering why /wouldn't/ you rush to get there?
-
@hoit I would use the term "great", actually.
