        • !mnbronies A general post; I heard back from the Geek Partnership Society, and while they cannot do THIS Saturday, the next Saturday is open (Sept 24) for now. I figure this would be an afternoon event showing a recorded copy of the episode. :P They have a huge party-style room that's $20/hour, a smaller room that seats 40 that's up to $6/hr, and a smaller private lobby that seats only 15 for $4/hr. Outside food & drink are welcome, though no alcohol. http://www.geekpartnership.org/ is in NE MPLS in the Waterbury building. Which also means bus access! ......If anyone is interested in this idea, let me know? You do have to pay in advance to rent space, and I'd ask folks kindly to toss in like a buck each or something to cover the rental fee; I can't really afford to pay a lot out of pocket myself to cover these things, sorry :C # ...I'd also like to get a rough idea of how many people would actually show up.

          • !mnbronies @shadowflame I'd be willing to host an impromptu-sorta premiere party Saturday, but I can't host folks for a sleepover Fri night, and my house could only handle around 10, give or take a few, at most. :C (On the other hand, I'm in north Minneapolis and booze is okay here as long as you keep it under control, no puking in corners plz). I also heard back from the Geek Partnership Society about hosting viewing events there, they are located in NE Minneapolis at the Waterbury Building.

            • !mnbronies So I know I'm way behind now, but it just occurred to me today - anyone thought about seeing if the Geek Partnership would be willing to host a premiere, or at least future viewing parties? http://www.geekpartnership.org ..I know they have played host to some other local events, though MLP may not be welcomed there or 'geeky' enough IDK. Maybe if we offered something like everyone tosses in $2 to donate to the GPS, and bring your own snacks/drinks? I'm not sure - e-mailing the GPS and asking too many questions about it.

                • !mnbronies @sneakysnake Hehe, I got that last one yesterday, I called in and asked them to hold it for me. Blaine is right next to Brooklyn Park (where I live), so the ponies were worth the trip.

                • !ponytoycollectors Picked up the 12-pack of the mini/"blind bag" ponies at Toys R Us today... one or two of these random ponies are begging to be custom bait. There was still one set left at the Blaine BRU, for any !mnbronies looking. # #
