@kayian It has to if you're serious. And you need to be serious. You need a *dedicated* and *serious* editor who will break down for you what you are doing and show you the difference between text and narrative. There are lots of editors out there who are very knowledgeable about the craft of writing and if you buddy up to one, it will be easier, MUCH easier, to improve.

That book is important if you take writing seriously. There is also a free monthly writer's e-zine by a guy called Roger something. Finally, connect with and form a professional/friendly relationship with a passionate and diligent editor.

@kayian Do you have an important reason for 1st person? If not stick to 3rd-person-limited (one pov at a time but in 3rd person)

@kayian niiice! the game doesn't let you skip buying Fancy Pants either which is annoying. I still don't have RD yet myself cause the Hearth's Warming quests drained my gems.

@kayian yeah. I mean, if you don't want to spend money there are offers that involve simply installing, running, then uninstalling apps through Tapjoy. At least there are in the Android version.
