Well, that was/is #Evan's intention: to make #pump.io the framework while #clients do the things WE (users) want. He should have invested time right at start to make a good client instead of that buggy web ui. And "forcing" the #statusnet eco system to switch to pump-protocol (adapt or #die) didn't help it either

added #statusnet feature: show all #threads as #hierarchical trees <- also for NOT logged in users. Currently it's possible via old-school setting per user ONLY. There's some code here http://oracle.skilledtests.com/url/5521 but not yet tested
