They’re either severely over-regulating or severely under-regulating. At all times. The FCC doesn’t have a dial on their regulatory practices, it’s just an on-off switch. Any time you hear about the FCC in the news, it’s because they’re either a) freaking out over Janet Jackson’s nipple, or b) handing free reign of literally everything to private corporations. They don’t know what “moderation” is. It’s not like this is the end of the internet—obviously—anyone who tells you that it is is either severely uninformed or a lobbyist, but a complete lack of regulation ain’t a good thing either. Of COURSE companies are going to take advantage of that. They literally always will.

That post is not me saying I think that Donald Trump was (smart enough to be a) compliant conspirator with the Russian government, I just think the accusations against Jones' camp are an example of partisan politics at its finest. Nobody looks at the candidate anymore. They just vote by party lines and when their candidate doesn't win, they don't consider the possibility that maybe their candidate sucked ass.

@tiff I know for a fact that one of them is length, if the video is under a certain length it won't get the preview. I THINK one of the other factors MIGHT be how much the thumbnail matches up with content in the video.
