@nerthos See, here is where if comes down to personal thoughts- God gives us all a choice, even if he knows we will fail. Simply put, if we fail, it is our fault for not seriously seeking him. If we succeed, then we are blessed in the next life, and cursed here (just because God's enemy, Satan (the Prince of this world) makes our life here painful.
