@luminosity You haven't been reading my posts. I'm not talking about open id, I am talking about the notion of using a username/password pair for logging into websites on the internet. open id is not the answer to this problem because it's still a username/password pair, but at the very least one can expect an open id provider to at least focus more on the security of their service so that they are far less likely to get cracked.
