@cavatina Because you're designing a GUI from scratch and Arch Linux and Gentoo are systems you build pretty much from scratch just as you want (though I wouldn't recommend Gentoo, as it's really hard, but Arch Linux is pretty doable if you read the Beginner's Guide). Of course it's not the same, but it's both "building to your liking" in a geeky way.
