    @pony I agree with you there, gender roles are just silly, especially since you can't choose what gender you will be born as (and many can't afford to change their gender, which won't even allow them to escape gender roles completely). Because of that, I generally try to use gender-neutral terms as much as possible. Something I, in my last sentence, clearly failed at :P
