@redenchilada When I was briefly silenced on identi.ca in an overzealous spam-killing run, it was just a generic error message (whether or not it _should've_ been the generic one may well be another matter entirely); in combination with the _highly_ unfortunate timing in this instance, that was enough to lead me to the faulty conclusion of "I've been banned".
