@pony Especially recently, everyone has been blaming the mods and admins for absolutely everything. You're also forced to read absolutely everything to moderate properly, so no ignoring things any more. It's recommended you click every link too. If you fail to notice something, you get called on it. You either become distant from everyone because you're telling them off all the time, or too lenient a mod. You can no longer pick sides in discussions for fear of being biased. etc. etc.
