@abigpony The only thing I must argue with there is 1) Bronies are Gender Role Defying, in a way. 13-35 year old Males watching a show about predominantly Female cartoon ponies doesn't sound like something societally "normal" for those of out age Group. I could take the point further by pointing to a large group of Bronies who own "Girl" toys. This is clearly not the social norm, and thus we are defying or in countercurrent with Society.
