    @pony They explained Shining's absence, but Cadence really doesn't have an explanation for the entire time between babysitting Twilight to the S2 finale. Cadence herself doesn't exactly connect PERFECTLY, but her slightly deeper delve into character in the S3 premiere made a but of sense. Again, she's a plausible character, but her pieces don't match up, particularly her inconsistancy in age.
