@pony Such a society goes nowhere. The point of it is to basically aim the efforts of the best humanity has to offer into just keeping the worst alive. That's utterly stupid. And in a practical sense, human nature dictates that most would feign inability to have an easier time. A society like that would literally kill humanity. You said it yourself. A reverse pyramid. In reality, such an structure is impossible to hold unless the tip of the piramid is of divine nature. And you cannot possibly expect a god to work for a bunch of lazy guys.
