Ideally this would be the case, but as it is, too few wish to rely on God for this to work properly. (In other words, yes, among other things, some people are too lazy.) I like the values inherent in such a model, namely serving others rather than self. A true pyramid system spells out oppression, while the opposite is true of a reverse pyramid (except as it oppresses God, but he takes such a role voluntarily).
