@pony Our teachers weren't bad teachers (in fact, because pay was so far above UK teacher average, they were all pretty good), they were just in a bad structure. They could all impart knowledge in an effective and engaging manner, but the priority was "Teach to the test" and "Help students write coursework guaranteed to get A grades" rather than actually putting in a good foundation for learning. Once they actually tried to hypnotise us. That was weird.
