@bowandlyre I've seen old-school gamers say they preferred the games of their youths because the newer ones were too complicated for them, or just rehashes of things they've seen several times by now, stuff like that. Me, I prefer my old games because I just don't get into a lot of what's big now. Never been a big FPS guy, most newer RPGs are a bit too action-y for me (also I got spoiled by D&D), and there really haven't been adventure games in the grand old tradition since the grand old tradition. But I don't really get on about how new games are "bad," just that they don't fit my tastes. Also, I don't have nearly as much time as I did, so . . . yeah.
