@awlderpy I ran a D&D game in which 2 out of the 4~6 players were archers. I put them up against a monk NPC. Monks (at least, in the edition(s) we played) are able to swat arrows out of the air, and potentially even catch them and throw them back. Halfway through the encounter, without even realizing it, I said, "Avoiding arrows annoys any archer." Then everyone glared at me, so I added, "And alliteration's always awesome." Surprisingly, they kept coming back to my game! !pnprpg
