    @flashmint It's been subtle, but since I'm so attached to the ponies' personalities it's stuck out for me. Like Pinkie has been way more over the top randumb, Twilight has been less quirky, and overall each character has lost some of their complexity. I blame the writers.

    But yeah. When I first saw the show I didn't really like Fluttershy's characterization. It did and does still often feel a bit fake. At the same time I liked her design a lot and her voice is one of my favorites. I got past the rehearsed feeling when I made her into my own character in my head basically. You could say I'm more a fan of the Fluttershy I imagine than I am of the Fluttershy we see on screen.
