@metaltao 4chan is a better medium of discussion because it is entirely anonymous (no reason to clamour for attention and be popular) and all opinions are cast in equal light and nobody can climb to the top. The issue with 4chan is there are too many people on it now and it's gone to hell. Reddit's issues however are built right into their site design
