I really loved the Imagery at the end of Halo 4. #SPOILER
After Leaving John, and trying her best to persuade him that there is nothing he can do, Cortana disappears into a void. As the Enemy ship he was on literally Crumbles around him. the only friend he ever trusted, gone. His world and life now turned upside down as he will have to learn to cope without the person who knew him best in his life. We then next see him floating in space, not fighting with the emptiness around him. Trying to become one. He floats, like a corpse. It is around here that a friend, one who he has saved from his very first mission, comes to save him. My god, was this a trip. He felt Nothing, and Floated in nothing. I just like that.
