@awlditzy Yeah, it was their commanding officer, not a higher up. Likely sharing the fate of his men there, just slightly above in the chain of command. I don't think he was ALL that older either. He knew they'd be wiped out and wouldn't do much of a dent in the enemy advance, so why waste so many lives?
