@northernnarwhal I'm still not 100% sure as to what the exact turn of events were, but according to showrunner Al Jean, Harry Shearer had 5 weeks of vacation time scheduled and Jean was either uninformed or forgot completely, so he requested that he come in for material during his vacation, which led to a misunderstanding in which Shearer believed that they were breaching contract. Or something like that. Anyway, it's resolved now and he's coming back to the show.
