  1. @tiffany Hi there, Tiff from the past. Just thought I'd talk a bit about this.

    In Japanese animation, they tend to value strong poses and detailed drawings a bit more than fluid movement. That's not a bad thing, that's just how they do things. I think a lot of stills from a lot of animes (with a few exceptions) could easily be confused as a standalone piece of art. That being said, it's also probably because Japanese animation studios are basically sweatshops and often they're given INSANE deadlines (think South Park except everybody's underpaid and nobody really knows who their boss is.)
