People are giving Wreck-It Ralph 2 FrankerZ because it looks like the Emoji Movie. Here’s my rebuttal: the first one was also the Emoji Movie, it just didn’t comment on present-day technology or culture so people saw it as a charming tale about a retro game character.

hello Brony

@scribus William banananer? Fine Captain James T. Kirk. Happy?

@scribus And my personal favorite. Rainbow Dash was shown to have a mild case of Autism. Can only learn "boring" things under special conditions that make them fun. It was a running gag for some artists, but she retains "everything" she sees while flying.
-
@scribus If you want to pick up the ol' dog and bone just hit the finale's for s4-s5 since they seemed lackluster and start in the middle of s6. And do watch the cult leader town episode, that was great.

the media says I don’t care about my children, okay. No, it’s true, can you believe this? Folks? So dishonest, okay, listen to me right now when I say that the untruth is deliberate and false. Okay. Let me tell you... a story, a tragic and great story, okay? My son, my little boy, Barron, we went to a ball game, New York Mets vs. some team from Atlanta, okay? A foul ball smacked my boy in the head so hard, it was terrible, okay. Right on the noggin. A tragedy. I took that ball, folks, I took that ball and I said to that ball listen, okay, you can either work with me, or you don’t, okay? So my boy, my son, my human spawn Barron, he turns to my friend John, where is John? Come here, where is he...? He said to Jonny, Johnny, my head hurts, okay, and I gave him my umbrella.

Like Ralph Bakshi except it’s the internet age so people are gonna see it anyway regardless of the rating.

In order for the joke to work it basically has to straight-up be pornographic.

I just had an idea for a cartoon that I think would be really funny but content-wise there’s no way I’d be able to upload it to YouTube. Newgrounds exclusive?

You all can thank Jared Kushner for that one.

Don’t make cartoons about Donald Trump, guys. I have now had to re-write or scrap about three of them because his staff turnaround is ridiculous.

I am convinced that every single Argentinian is either a white supremacist or a communist, I have never ever seen a single Argentinian on the Internet who was not one of these things

I went back and retroactively added several jokes into The Twin Souls 3 (nearly done!) which I think only people who watched my older stuff will get. So basically just me.

I find myself upset when a website refuses to serve you in a mobile browser and tries to force you to use an app. I know you have a browser interface, Yelp, I use it all the time on non-mobile platforms. I don't even need a mobile site, just let me read what people wrote.

@scribus depending on what browser you use—I use Chrome—you can force the website to send you the desktop version http://rainbowdash.net/url/869769

@mrmattimation Yeah, but I usually just say "screw it, dude" and mix a White Russian, go bowling, um... get lost on a tangent...

They also all have high-profile spoilers and make the loudest engine sounds in the universe despite the fact that the median speed in Alexandria is twelve miles an hour

Everyone in Alexandria drives a 2002 Honda Civic that looks like it just drove away from a horrific ten car accident

There’s also a big factory in the center of the city that just shoots smoke into the air like a god damn steampunk dystopia fantasy RPG, I don’t even know what the factory’s purpose is beside looking ominous

Also 95% of the roads go down a 90 degree incline so you have to have engine braking on pretty much constantly.

That city was planned by an absolute sadist who gets he rocks off on watching confused people try and figure out how the intersections work

By the way guys, pro tip, Alexandria, VA sucks massive elephant dick, don’t ever go there
Tuesday, 27-Feb-18 05:45:01 UTC from web -
I know they have statewide jurisdiction, but I was on the outskirts of Alexandria at the time so seeing those guys hanging around is a bit weird to me.

I can’t take state troopers seriously because of those doofy hates they wear. Do they wear those hats in every state or just in the south???? Because they’re very dumb hats.
Tuesday, 27-Feb-18 05:29:04 UTC from web-
@mrmattimation i think those are what american service members reder to as bus-driver hats? I’ve seen MN state troopers and DNR troopers with them.
-
@awl whatever it is it makes them look like they’re trying to catch yogi bear stealing a picnic basket http://rainbowdash.net/url/869742

@mrmattimation the picnic basket will be our guns if the libs get their way. The war’s a coming.

Virginia state troopers are cartoon characters
Tuesday, 27-Feb-18 05:33:35 UTC from web -
I don’t care if they’re “protecting” themselves from the “sun”, they look like prison guards from 90s movies where kids dig holes in the desert all day
Tuesday, 27-Feb-18 05:30:58 UTC from web -
Speaking of getting shot, I was followed by a state trooper for a good five mile stretch of highway while driving back from Alexandria today.

I realize this is a side-effect of having been on television since Ronald Reagan was President, but The Simpsons took a REALLY long time to switch off of cel animation. Barring a select few episodes where they tested digital animation (Season 7’s “Radioactive Man”, Season 12’s “Tennis the Menace”, and Season 14’s “Treehouse of Horror XIII”) they were still doing traditional ink and paint until midway through season 14
Tuesday, 27-Feb-18 05:17:47 UTC from web-
@mrmattimation No kidding? Wild. I've been thinking about looking for watercolor animation... altogether unrelatedly.
-
@scribus if you go back and watch season 7, Radioactive Man is visually jarring because it looks more like an episode that would have aired in 2005 or 2006, rather than in 1995. It’s super bizarre.
