  1. @lulu I use bitstamp. MTgox is so badly run as to essentially be a con. If you're just /buying/ coins, bitinstant is not a bad solution. PLEASE note that despite the name, you don't need to buy whole bitcoins! You just need 0.04-ish.

  6. @lulu It's all automated. All you need to deal with is withdrawing your bitcoins and converting them to fiat currency, but that's not very difficult these days.

  7. @lulu You pay the one off-fee for the miner, and they take a small fraction (3% I think) of what you mine to pay running costs.

  8. @lulu None at all. This system lets you host your miner in the cloud in a datacenter someplace. I've got 4 or 5 up there now. (I just loop the profit they make back into buying more, I started with 1)

  9. @lulu you should listen to Blood On the Leaves

  10. @lulu That would be a bad idea. It's not even really necessary. It's a $40 outlay for a $5 a month return.

  11. @lulu Seth MacFarlane's apparently been trying to go serious forever, but Family Guy ruined that for him. The closest he&: gotten to that was the recurring role he had in Star Trek.

  12. @lulu probably less though.

  14. @lulu You see, that's another thing. Comedy. Everything on the Internet that isn't comedic in some form is "boring". Even the recent apocalypse drama starring all those YouTubers had to use a joke title in order to get any views. You have no idea how much I want to do something more serious. But no matter how hard I work on it, it'll be "that time that guy was even less funny than normal".

  15. @lulu It's a bit of a misnomer really.

  19. @lulu Oh, so we're talking about different songs. I misread your first post. Never mind then.

  20. @lulu Unless "mangoes you very much" is the name of a song?

Thursday, 30-Jan-14 06:53:23 UTC from web in context
  21. @lulu ...I'm guessing we're talking about the same song? I didn't really get the connection. (But then, I never look for connections in joke songs, so I would've easily missed one if it was there.)

Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:50:52 UTC from web in context
  27. @lulu no, also, the oil might not be the one USA uses the most. Brazil for example produces enough volume for its own use, but it is heavy oil, which is not fit for the country's need, so they have to change it for light oil.
