  1. @rotation Alright, fair. I'll say it. "Chrome is better than Firefox"

  3. @derpytails I hate to tell you, but @rotation is right. Soooooooooo right. Chrome > Firefox

  4. @eliaphir Hey, do you want an avatar for the !utahbronies group? A friend of mine cooked up a seal for a local meet up we had some time ago if you want it.

  5. @greydragon412 As long as I don't burst into flames, I can probably salvage what small mistakes I make. Adding/removing an HBA or changing tile location isn't the end of the world. It's not brain science or rocket surgery ^;)

  6. @greydragon412 I'm thinking of completing a series of orders I don't yet have the info for and hope against hope that it doesn't blow up in my face.

  7. @greydragon412 I'm good, bored, but good. You?

  9. @mrdragon Well, I'm currently ssh'ed into a series of Solaris systems.... so... I already have. Plus there is the FreeBSD box in the other room.

  10. I don't know why I just realized how absurd this is... I have three laptops in front of me. Windows XP (all business), OS X (some business), Debian (all play). The stupidity of not virtualizing...

  11. @floofyhoof As VPMO it'll be a combination of start-to-finish order process, system configuration, network configuration, rack-and-stack (physical labor), offsite equipment pick up, and some meetings. I get to do a bit of everything I like!

  12. @mrdragon I have a good feeling about this one at least. It's the same group of people I've been working with for the past 2 years, I'm just becoming an internal employee instead of a contractor. In the past two years there has been a myriad number of pranks including throwing a luau in someone's office, DNS poisoning to redirect a given group of people to a false sales/traffic report page, removing and hiding everyone's mouse/keyboard, and generating a false alert scenario while telling an engineer his job is on the line. And these are just the ones I'm AWARE of. I miss most of it since I'm remote.

  13. @mrdragon Technically, I work from home for the next month (waiting to move). Even once I do, the group I work for is the screw-off branch. We tend to be the type who spend Fridays playing Munchkin and the like. That being said, I do miss the ease of manual labor... really let my mind wander and play about... but for the money I'm making at this gig, ok, sure, I'll live in an office #

  15. @rotation I noticed that I was having issues with the wifi I was connected to as well (using the AP in my back office instead of the one I'm not 10 feet from) so it may have been an issue with signal attenuation or something involving TTL being set poorly...

  16. @mrdragon VPMO for a major telco... Though pornset or cake factory are also to my liking

  18. @floofyhoof Excellent! Thanks for the help. IP worked... dunno why it wouldn't work via FQDN... Thanks again!

  19. Somehow, I lost knowledge I once had. Statusnet for Android. What server should I attempt to connect to when configuring the app? Plain ol' rainbowdash.net fails for me... #
