@presentperfect For reasons I don't remember and probably don't make sense, nearly everypony changed their avatar to Twilight. Jokes were made, stuff happened, reaction pics got some mileage, and no one could tell who was who in public.

@presentperfect Agreed. But if you feel the need, write them anyway. It may change your perspective or better your skills as a writer to write with variety.

@presentperfect I knew that that had to be the type of inspiration driving at least part of the story. I could say my love life is also pretty darn luckless as well. Heck, if I examined my whole life, there could be a maelstrom of little tidbits to inspire stories.

@presentperfect I don't drink, and all the parties were more Berry Punch and less Pinkie Pie, so I really didn't bother. Based on how the rest of my dorm was this morning, I think I made the better call.
